Rather than distillation, absolute essential oils are created using a solvent extraction process, otherwise known as liquid-liquid.
Traditionally extracted from flowers, leaves, beans and pods, absolute oils are more highly concentrated and have a thicker consistency than traditional essential oils.
With a higher potency, a small amount of absolute oil stretches further making a more cost-effective option for product design and development.
